Okay, so these are a little creepy, a set of six American folk art paintings of children

Just like the title says, old painted portraits creep the living you know what out of me, even though I grew up in a family of antique dealers, I still never could get used to these things, the eyes feel like they are staring at your soul!

But in the days before even the most primitive of photographs, this was all you had to draw to if you wanted a portrait of your loved one, oh, and one more fun fact, when it comes to appraising/evaluating the gender of a child in these portraits, you have to go by the child's haircut and what type of item and or toy they are pictured with, if the item is a girly or masculine kinda thing, then the subject is either a boy or a girl, why?

Because back then small children of both genders wore dresses!

Anyhoo, cloned from a basegame painting, clearly named so you can toss what you don't want, enjoy!
