So I was bored this morning, and I decided to try my hand at making tattoos for the game, after pouring over some tutorials I finally learned how to do it(YAY!)here's the finished product, a nice and simple celtic design that would work well for males and females, 1 channel recolorable, should work with the patched basegame as well as Ambitions, enjoy!

Last night before I went to bed I decided to check the daily finds on My Sims 3 Blog, well, imagine my surprise when I saw that on of my humble little creations was featured there, WOW, thank you!

Cubism my dear, 4 paintings by George Braque

Tiny Dancer, four Leon Bakst paintings for your Sims

The new ballet after school activity that came with Generations served as the inspiration for these, they are costume design sketches from the ballet Russes by Russian artist Leon Bakst, 1866-1924, he was a painter and a set designer for the ballet Russes.

I have always been attracted to his art, because of the fluid beauty of the sketches, and I am amazed that someone would put so much heart, soul and creativity into a costume sketch!

when abstract attacks! Four Alexander Calder paintings for your Sims

I am huge art nerd, I would never make any secret of that, here are four paintings by one of my favorite artists of all time, Alexander Calder, 1898-1976, he is perhaps most famous for his brilliant mobiles, but he also painted and made jewelry(I am fortunate enough to own a pair of earrings that he made).

These are all cloned from the funky green painting that came with High End Loft Stuff, I use and abuse that mesh because it fits best with modern art, both formats are now available, package and Sims3pack.
